The emtek® wetland access system installed by NEW SOUTH Access & Environmental Solutions proved to be the perfect solution for crossing this sensitive wetland on an island in Illinois. NEW SOUTH provided a safe passage for ComEd crews as they moved in a 90,000 lb. drilling rig and other heavy equipment to restore, replace and install much needed transmission towers, poles and lines to accommodate customers on both sides of the river.
